Membership FAQ’s

What are the benefits of CORA membership?
Becoming a member of CORA has many benefits. These are outlined in the CORA Membership Benefits document.

Are annual memberships based on a calendar year or a 12 month period?
CORA dues are based on the calendar year: January to December. Memberships will be available to purchase before the end of the previous year but are not valid until January 1 of the given year.

Do I need to log in to pay my dues?
Logging in is no longer required to purchase a CORA membership.

How do I know if my payment went through?
You will receive an email with confirmation of your payment. If you don’t see that email in your inbox, please check the junk or spam folders.

Where do I find my CORA number?
CORA numbers are no longer valid or necessary.

Can I change my password?
Log in and passwords are no longer required to purchase a CORA membership.

What if I have a new email address or other contact information has changed.
All members must provide current contact information at the time of registration.

How do I pay the day fee (single day membership) online?
Paddlers are encouraged to purchase annual CORA memberships. However, those wishing to purchase single day memberships can purchase one-day memberships for sanctioned CORA races on-line.

Memberships for a single day are available for individuals who don’t want an annual membership. An adult single day pass is $15 and a junior single day pass is $5 (including GST). Please remember that these passes are only valid for one specific day, which you must choose when you purchase the pass. Multi-day events require an annual pass or multiple single day passes (an annual pass is a better deal). An annual membership ($30 for adults and $10 for juniors) is valid for all races in a calendar year, including multi-day events. Please help support CORA by considering annual memberships in the future.

Where can I get help with the Registration and Payment Process?
