Next up on the CORA Sanctioned Eastern Canada outrigger canoe events for 2025 is the Fall Classic in Ottawa on October 11, 2025 (Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend, so that you can work up an appetite for Canadian Thanksgiving dinner) hosted by Rideau Outrigger Racing Club. This event will be a small-boat 11.5KM time trial out and back race down the picturesque Rideau Canal UNESCO World Heritage site.
As a CORA Sanctioned Event and a CORA Eastern Canada CORA Cup Series Event, the Fall Classic is eligible for various CORA funding. For event / registration information, please contact Mark Singer

Join Latitude 48 Paddling Club for Bridges 2025, a fast paced 5km race on the Gorge Waterway in Victoria, BC.
On Saturday, October 4th, OC6 heats will run throughout the day (9:00am to 3:00pm) with divisions for novices, men, women, mixed and junior crews. Gender and mixed crews will run separately, allowing paddlers to race in multiple divisions. Spec canoes for the OC6 race are provided, just bring your crew, paddles and pfd! PFDs must be Canadian Coast Guard Certified. Cost is $25 per paddler/$150 per crew.
OC6 Registration closes Sept. 27th, 9:00 p.m. or when the race grid is full, whichever comes first!
On Sunday, October 5th, bring your own boat to race the Inny (5 km race in protected waters waters ideal for new racers, marathon canoes, SUPs and even experienced paddlers that want a shorter distance. Cost is $26 per paddler.
Or race the Outty (12 km race that heads out of the Victoria harbour, past Saxe Point and back). Course may be modified on race day depending on wind and wave conditions. modifications on race day should conditions be too big for most.
Presented by Comox Valley Canoe Racing Club, this year’s event promises to be bigger, better and more engaging, both on and off the water, than ever before.
Join us at beautiful Comox Lake for the event of the season! Enjoy fresh water and glacier views as you race in OC6 on Saturday or small boats on Sunday. Camping will be available onsite so you can enjoy the full ohana experience. Stay and enjoy the post-race dinner, music and awards.
New this year, we will have a fun kids race on Friday afternoon. No preregistration necessary, you can bring your own team or we will make one up for you.
Camping is available on a first-come first-served basis so register your team early to get the best choice of campsites.
