CORA sponsored clinics are CORA sanctioned/funded events which are hosted by a CORA club and are open to all CORA members. All individuals taking a CORA-sponsored clinic must be paid-up CORA members.

Creekside Paddling Centre in Vancouver (Olympic Village)
The dry-land component will cove:
The on-water component will cover paddling / steering for 500M OC Sprints (lanes / staging / starts) courses and 5K triangle distance courses.
CORA Coaching Clinic Grant of $600 will enable setting fees at $15/person.
Paddlers may register as individuals or as teams.

The purpose of the clinic is to provide coaching specific to outrigger sprint technique, boats and training program. We have a number of paddlers that have signed up to compete at the Oct 11th trials in Burnaby for Word Sprints.
The clinic will offer modules including;
1. V1 paddling technique
2. V6 crew training (seat responsibilities, turns, starts, etc)
3. OC1 paddling keys for time controls
4. Theory topics: mental training & race preparation
