Yes! There will be awards and photo-ops for 1st / 2nd / 3rd Place in each Boat / Distance / Gender / Age Division.

Yes! It is for the sake of minimizing complexity and expediting the race schedule.

  • There are 8 Boat (V1; V6) / Distance (500M; 1000M) / Gender (Women; Men; Mixed) Divisions for the Sprints Regatta (V1 500M Women; V1 500M Men; V6 500M Women; V6 500M Men; V6 500M Mixed; V6 1000M Women; V6 1000M Men; V6 1000M Mixed).
  • Age Divisions are provided for each Boat / Distance / Gender Division.
  • The V6 500M & V6 1000M Boat / Distance Divisions are a package deal for a specific Gender team.
  • Any given competitor may participate in a maximum of 5 Boat / Distance / Gender Events (V1 500M Women or Men; V6 500M & V6 1000M Women or Men; V6 500M & V6 1000M Mixed).
  • A Boat / Distance / Gender competitor may only register in a single Age Division.
  • However, a V6 Men team in one Age Division and a V6 Women team in one Age Division may form 2 Mixed teams and register in completely different Age Divisions subject to the minimum Age of any competitor in the Mixed team.
  • The rationale for limiting any given competitor to one Age Division in any Boat / Distance / Gender Division is because the Race Schedule may very well have competitors from different Age Divisions in the same heat. This could create a situation where any given competitor could find themselves needing to be in different boats with different competitors in the same heat. This scenario must not happen.
